HAFU the film/
Utah screening on Dec 5 & 6 2014
“Hafu” is the Japanese term for people who are half-Japanese. This is the unfolding journey of discovery into the intricacies of mixed-race Japanese and their multicultural experience in modern day Japan, they explore what it means to be multiracial and multicultural in a nation that once proudly proclaimed itself as the mono-ethnic nation.
The film itself was shot in a unique environment recent Japanese society, however, it enhances what we've left behind in globalization. We believe this is a movie which gives us many aspects of 'multiracial and multicultural' issue that we have been losing in our heart in any area of the world. Join us!
